Hi all, being new to the game I have been following what I was shown in my first games and when I lost a ball I was advised to drop a ball some where near where the ball was lost and add one penalty point onto my score, after reading some of the rules I find I should be playing a provisional ball from the place the last ball was played from and adding the penalty. My question is when playing from a blind tee or over the brow of a hill if you cant find the ball do you go back and play another shot from as close as possible to where the last shot was played or do you add two penalty points and play a wrong ball from where you think the original ball should be. |
